while Karma may be true, in this case it doesn't apply. The guy did make it to the Superbowl after all. And, the game isn't over. Besides, if he does lose, so what?. If that's the price he has to pay he might as well keep it up.

Agreed. And they will. But they're not relevant at the moment. My negligence in failing to mention them is not on purpose, but rather because of their lack of availability at the moment.
